LG DVD Player / Recorder. Model HR925T

Can anyone please help change the Regional code on my LG DVD HR925T. It does not use regional code numbers, as in 4 for Australia. It uses Alpha, as in AU for Australia. I have tried the seven zeros method, but nothing happens. I have spoken with an appliance guy and he told me LG DVD players manufactured in 2012 the Lock settings for Regions can not be changed. I have a DVD series of Downton Abby, with region code 2. I have tried all Alphas, GB Great Britain, UK and BR but still cannot play. Very frustrating. Thanks for any help.
