I've made BD's of our HD family videos for years. 10+ years later I've become concerned (paranoid) about the longevity of BD-R's. I would like to rip them back into .iso's or some/any other reproducible format and back them up on am external hard drive so that I can remake a BD if one fails. This is very important since I delete the original files once I have completed the BD.

I have SlySoft, ImgBurn and have tried them both but they won't rip. They fail and I'm not sure what the issue is. One disc of four so far has ripped with no issue. They all still play so they should be rip-able!

If it helps, I used Adobe Premiere Elements to create the discs.

    Any tips?

A player will be more forgiving of errors in the discs than something trying to make a perfect copy.

Try ISOBuster to copy the content. Don't remember offhand if the free version will work, but its what I'd start with.
