Hello everyone,
I am trying to record to my HDD some Sirius music shows that i miss when they are being broadcast normally, do to conflicting work schedules.
So I got a trial of the Sirius internet radio and the shows are labeled as "On Demand" which means i can record them when my schedule permits. Then later, after recording i want to burn them as MP3's that i can listen to thru my main stereo system. The Sirius internet radio works fine, but since i have Jrivers MC v17 i configured it to play the Sirius thru it which also works and sounds much better. Now you can use the URL and/or the scheduler function to record, which it does, and the file shows up in the designated music folder, but when i try to play the recorded file JRMC simply wont play the file which i thought was odd, so i tried to locate and import the file to the MC, but when browsing for the file it wont show up in my music folder.
So i tried using WMP, but WMP shows an error messages saying there was a problem during playback.
I checked the properties on the file and it correctly shows me it's an MP3 file.
I know some streaming audio wont record due to copy writing or other things of that sort, but a quick Google search shows quite a few companies offering software to download Sirius streams.
Any help or suggestions would be great!!

What does mediainfo / mediainfoxp say about the mp3 file?
Try another sirius downloader? -
Well, i tried it again, and a 20min stream only made a 4.99kb file, and that is the size file i get no matter how long i record for. Also the file still does not show up in MC when i try to import the file to play it on JRivers, cause when i try to play the file by right clicking and choosing MC all it does is kind of blink and nothing happens and i get no error message. I think i may have to try other software. Any suggestions? This is becoming such a long involved process to try to record streaming sirius i may just cancel it and say the heck with it. I may be able to send you the file via email if you think you could look at it for me since it is so small.
