    Hello everybody, I have a question.

    if I type chkdsk /f /r in cmd to analyze and correct errors of disk, this will affect the data or files on my hard drive? or there is an risk of erasure or other risk?

    Nope:
    chkdsk /f /r at cmd.- Locates bad sectors & recovers readable information.

    NOTE:
    Can’t repair volumes that are in use.
    If they are in use: It will prompt you to restart the system.

  4. The CHKDSK command.

    If you don't specify the drive letter while issuing the command, it will apply to the current drive indicated by the command prompt (flashing cursor). This is applicable to any commands.

    ok everyone, thanks for all your answers. So it's not risky, I will be able to effectuate it to repair some problems.

    I'm not sure I'd say that there is NO RISK at all in doing that. The recovery it attempts can fail and sometimes even if it does recover, it renames the file to a default name that tells you nothing about what it used to be called. Then depending on how many renamed files you have, you have to go through each one to figure out what it is.
