    LG 4167B made in 2005.....

    Ebay - €4. My present 4167B is finally dying and it's my best ripper/reader. Many of the newer drives have RipGuard (of some sort) and only rip @2x. Hopefully this one came from an old man's computer.

    The newer LG bdr drives do not have Riplock. I use a BH14ns40 and it rips DVD and BD at full speed.

    My newer H58N has riplock.....newer than the 4176B anyway....
