Hi guys.
Just wondering what the problem could be when I play videos on windows media player, youtube etc, sometimes they play fine, other times its blank screen with audio but no picture. This happens with nothing being changed and sometimes I will try another day and the video will be playing fine.
Can't find any solutions so I thought id ask here.
Many thanks.

Maybe some graphics card issues because of video overlay or something.
You aren't using dual monitors/tv? -
Nah just my laptop. Its strange from eveything i've read it seems to lean towards a codec issue or something conflicting. Like I could watch a some clips on yahoo and try the same clips the next day and they will play blank screen wth no sound. Seems like a common problem, so many threads all over the net about it, very hard to find answers though.
I still can't work out what it is. -
For those that use a Toshiba Satelite, I found a solution a while back after countless google searches and forget to post about it. So heres a thread resurrection bump for those that may need it.
1) AMD Vision Engine Control Center
2) Preferences
3) Restore factory defaults
The blank screen on all video players including youtube will play properly again.Status - Attacked by mold spores. - Pour out a lil liquor for all the homies lost in the format wars. Sanlyn will live again, a Sanlyn v2.0 if you will
