I dont know whats going on but this is upsetting.
I have a video I have had for a long time and I have watched it several times and this has never happened before. It works perfectly fine on every other computer in my house but it wont right on my new computer.
It is now displaying messed up colors or moving blocks all over the picture that never showed up before on any other computer I have used.
I have pretty much the exact same stuff installed, I have been using these codec packs for god knows how long and have never had any trouble with playback. I checked all the settings on the computers and they all match. I even tried several media players and my new computer still gives me this problem.
I don't know if its my new graphics card or not. (Nvidia GTX 970)
I tried to take a screenshot to show what it is that I see but when I open the screenshot on my other computers, I cant even see the problem in the screenshot, its only in all the media players I have tried on the computer and only on this one computer.
What could be going on here?
My games, programs, and other stuff look just fine on my computer. its only when I try to playback videos on the computer that this happens.

Okay I noticed my desktop icons looked like windows 98 ones when fullscreen games screwed up your colors by changing them for a game and not changing them back after its closed.
I checked my color settings and apparently somehow my computer set itself to 16bit colors instead of 32bit without me knowing.
I just turned the colors back to normal and the problem is solved.
