  1. Hi there!

I searched for a while solution to my problem with YouTube videos - almoust every video (no matter of quality I choose) have almoust unnoticable lags - video are not flowing.

For example - http://youtu.be/-YGDyPAwQz0?t=2m7s . When white car drives, video don't go fluid, seems like it has a less fps for a second (I just really don't know how to better describe this).

When I open this video on VLC, it shows video without these small laggs.

What I already tried: switch to html5 player instead of flash player, disable hardware acceleration, different browsers, installed flash player beta version for test purposes, tried on different computers etc.

Specs of my pc: Core i3-4160 (3.6 GHz), 4GB Kingston HyperX 1600MHz (dual channel), SSD Kingston HyperX 3K (120GB), XFX Radeon HD6870.

This problem is on almoust every YouTube video (no matter of quality), I don't think something is wrong with my computer because tried on different computers. What is problem, I don't know, that's because I'm asking your help guys.

Did you see the lag when playing the lower resolutions eg. 480p ?

IN the Flash video, right click and select "stats for nerds" and check for dropped frames.

  3. Yes, I already mentioned that no matter which resolution I take it plays same except VLC.

The problem is a computer - Operating System in your computer is designed in a way that may introduce jitter, also HW may have some limitations and may be not able to provide sufficient amount of functionality to provide jitter free play out.

Go for decent SW media player + decent SW renderer (decent means usually: at a cost of CPU usage jitter was sufficiently suppressed).

Web browsers surely are not the best (performance-wise) environment for watching videos.
Google's YouTube is capable of making things even worse.
Adobe Flash Player is not optimized for ACTUAL performance --- its main goal still is to deliver «ads» and visual «*aggotry».
