    Hello,

The few free apps that I have tried require video files to be in DVD Video TS format before I can create a DVD. I am looking for a free app that can create a DVD from mp4 video files.

On my Mac, I use Roxio Toast, yet I need to do this on a Windows 7 machine tonight.

    Thanks!

It's encoding as we speak. It appears it's making a file of some sort in the videos home folder. Will it also burn this file it's making to DVD, or do I use a separate app for that? I'm not a Windows guy, so I know nothing about how to do this on this computer I'm on right now.

    Thanks.

Use ImgBurn to burn to a disc. ImgBurn will recognize DVD-video structure, and if you have any settings wrong it will ask to correct them. Follow the suggestions if they show up.

AVStoDVD can be set to burn automatically with ImgBurn, but you have to select Burn DVD in the Output setup before you start the encode.
