  1. Hi

I downloaded DVDFab to rip a yoga instructional DVD so that I can play it on my tablet (Win8). I chose to rip an MP4 and left all the settings to default but when I play the ripped version there's no audio. The audio column lists "Undefined AC-3/2" as its only option. If I play the DVD in my player one of the options is to choose which voice/audio track I want to listen to talking you through the poses. I don't think this should be much of an issue though as it must be similar to choosing which language to listen to while watching a movie DVD.

Can anyone tell me why there's no audio?

Also, I really don't understand the chapter columns. When I hover over it, it shows two drop down lists which seem to have a random number of digits in each list. E.g 1 to 2, 1 to 8, 1 to 16, 1 to 35 etc. What do these numbers mean and which should I choose?

    Thanks!

Can you post the details from the mp4. Use mediainfoxp.

Or try convert the audio to aac or mp3 in dvdfab.

  3. Sorry for the delay in responding; it's been really busy week.

I deleted the MP4 but was able to rip it with sound as an AVI file. I think what I did wrong (and forgot to mention in my first post) was to check "Copy Audio" on the Advanced Settings screen. It seems counter-intuitive that checking that would mean no audio, but I did another MP4 rip without checking that and it worked.
