  1. Most movies files that I getting lately seem to be bluray avi. Is there anyway to convert this so I can play this on my standard dvd player. Try ed AVS converter and WinAvi converter but when all finish they are still bluray. Wish I could afford a new player but money is tight. Probably not but thank for reading.

You appear to be confused. BluRay can't be "AVI", and "AVI" can't be BluRay. You might also be under the impression that everything encoded with h264 is "BluRay", which isn't true, and everything that's HD is BluRay, which isn't true either. If these source videos are downloaded from the internet, they won't be BluRay. Use MediaInfo to post more detail about the source videos you're working with.

  3. Standard DVD players require standard def videos authored to mpeg2 dvd standards. AVStoDVD is a good, free DVD authoring tool.

But if your sources are downloaded BluRay rips, you should know better than to discuss them here.
