  1. Hi,

I'm Yash and a newbie around this forum.
I have a sony 4k 50 inch tv which supports usb playback. I had converted an mp4 file of LOTR an unexpected journey to .m2ts using tsmuxer as the movie ran for 30 mins with subs on .mp4 and then showed "PLAYBACK NOT AVAILABLE". It was running correctly on my VLC and Windows Media Player with subs.

After converting it to.m2ts, the movie ran flawlessly on my sony 4k TV but it wasn't able to read the subtitle file. The subtitle file I have been using is of the form .srt

Now, how do I add subs to .m2ts so that it runs on my tv?

I guess you have tried click on the subtitle/option button your remote control?

Or else try hardcode the subtitles with for example vidcoder.
