I just bought a commercial DVD - A 20th Century Video Archive title.
All of the files that should be inside the VIDEO_TS folder are outside the folder and are only 2kb - so when you open the DVD you see the AUDIO and VIDEO_TS folders and all of the video related files.
There are no files inside the VIDEO_TS folder.
My Mac DVD player app will play the video.
VLC will open the menu page but crashes trying to play the movie.

My DVD ripper crashes soon after starting to rip the disc.
FileBuddy app shows no invisible files on the DVD.
Handbrake finished the transcode in a couple of seconds and the file is just the new 20th Century Logo disc intro.
Can anyone tell me how to rip this disc?

    Insufficient data.

    Need more info

For the time being: that looks like a corrupted file filesystem.

I have a Mac - I ran ISOBuster in emulation and it showed no hidden files - just what I described.
I was able to play the DVD on an LG BluRay player and an old LG DVD/VHS dubber.
