Hi. I'm Mick and I am new. I am interested in taking a television show DVD (a modern day show) and somehow recording voice-overs on them.
How is this done? What software/program can I use or buy to achieve this?
Any info is appreciated.
I mute the television and make my kids laugh with different dialogue. I figured this would be fun to do.

- Rip the main movie of the Dvd, to HDD.
- Load/import the movie assets into an NLE.
- Add an extra audio track/layer for VO (in addition to the a+v tracks for the movie).
- Record your vo while you play & watch/listen to the movie. Do this multiple times if necessary and edit best takes.
- Adjust the balance between the original audio and the vo audio.
- Export your changed & balanced audio.
- Remux/reauthor (with copy of original tracks) to a new dvd.
