    I'm looking to transfer large video files from my PC to my external hard drive. From there I want to stream from my hard drive to my PS3. From the looks of the hub itself, there is a single port for a data cable on the back and all the ports to connect devices are on the front. So would that mean I can only extend to one device or can I connect my PC and my PS3 at the same time while sharing whatever drives I may have plugged into the hub?

    Only one device on the hub is a master. Only the master can access the devices. Devices cannot talk to each other.

    To share a USB drive between two computers requires that you physically swap the USB drive to each computer. Or you can use wired/wireless networking.
