There's an Imax version of an mkv that I want to convert with Vidcoder as I usually do with my other files.

The problem is the file has 16:9 and anamorphic scenes, so on the first conversion I made it converted to all to 1920:800, instead of leaving it as 1920:1080 as it should.

How do I adjust that on Vidcoder so that I get the original ratio?

One mkv with mixed resolution/aspect ratio?

Maybe must you then extract each part with mkvtoolnix and encode/shrink.

    Maybe that's not necessary.

I've just seen that VC has a cropping setup where you can choose "None" and it will preserve the original image as it already is on the file.

I will try that and comment on it.
