I am having a problem, maybe someone out there has an answer, I am definitely learning as I go along, and I have made lots of “coaster” disks!!
First I didn’t realize that there were different formats for videos! Some playable on DVD players and some on ipod /cell phones, some for computers. I also didn’t realize that there was a difference in DVD disks, some R+ plus and some R- minus, some for computer and some for DVD player. So I am learning!
Anyways I posted a few questions on this video help forum and have learned a bit, but am still having problems.
I finally successfully downloaded Imgburn 2.7.5.0, and picked up a converter ( AVS4you) to convert some of my WMV into DVD format, but am still having problems.
I put the whole video folder that had been converted to DVD from WMV into the burn program in Imgburn, “write a files/ folder to disk” and ended up with another “coaster” with sound but no picture. I was told it was probably a convertor problem.
I was informed that I had to change my DVD video file into an ISO file by putting it into “Create an image file /folders,” and then put into “write files/folders to disc” and it should work.
Is this correct? Also, do I just put the video_ts file in, or do I also put the audio file in too??
Thanks for your patience with this newbie!
