    Hi everyone.

I were viewing a good movie: Fortress 2012 (B-17 Flying Fortress - World War II), but couldn't understand all conversations.
I had searched all the best subtitle website as
    http://subscene.com,
    http://www.opensubtitles.org,
    http://www.podnapisi.net
    http://subtitles.yedincigemi.com,
    http://www.addic7ed.com/
    ........

    But noway.

So I would like to ask here, who can help me an English subtitle of this movie. (IMDb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1558575/?ref_=nv_sr_6)
    Thanks for advance.

  3. Since there were no subtitles on the DVD, you won't find any at the subtitle sites. If you owned the DVD instead of a download of the film you'd know that already. Therefore you are in violation of the rules of this site which specifically forbid the discussion of warez.

Actually there's nothing in his post that specifically says he didn't buy the film and as a newbie poster, it doesn't seem impossible to me that he could have bought a copy AND still want help to find subtitles. But yes, you are more likely than not correct in what you suppose.

I have never seen this film nor had I heard of it prior to this thread. I checked and it was released in North America on BluRay and DVD by a small studio I've never heard of before and neither the BluRay nor DVD seem to have any subtitles on them. So that means that someone would have to create subtitles by hand, which isn't likely to happen. It was made on a very small budget by production companies I've never heard of. My guess is that there simply wasn't money to pay somebody to do subtitles for it. I can't find any evidence it even got released outside of the USA and possibly Canada, so there probably wasn't any perceived need for subtitles.

I viewed this movie on HBO, and now on hulu.com
I don't understand why, but I could find subtitles for this movie in many languages, but not English.
I had searched in subtitleseeker.com, but the only English subtitle of 42 subtitles in 14 languages for "Fortress 2012" is "Fortress.2010.DVDRiP.XViD-LAZi", not "Fortress 2012".
Like jmann98, I think, they may not create English subtitle for this movie.

Thanks all for reading this thread!

Then you have violated no policies here and are fine.

  8. Later I discovered there was a release of the film with subs in Australia. So I was wrong about there not being any subs in a retail release and there probably not being any subs available on the subtitle sites. Of course, the PAL subs won't fit an NTSC source without some work. As for him having viewed the film on Hulu and HBO, I don't think that's evidence of him not having downloaded the film. Wouldn't the subs be needed to enjoy the film as it plays, something you can't do when streaming the film or viewing a broadcast of it?

I do not speak English. And studying by viewing English movies.
What I need are a movie and a document such as Microsoft Word file or Notepad file which I can read the conversations if I couldn't understand by listening (in the movie). I did this way with many movies, not just Fortress 2012. And no need to download the movies.

In Fortress 2012 movie, I couldn't understand many, because it's very noisy: gun fire, airplane engines, men screaming.....
So I would like to looking for a document like that, and the easiest way is a subtitle.
But with a subtitle, I had to trim all time lines, then printed out.

    That's all of my purpose.

    Thanks all.

  10. In that case jman98 was right and I apologize to you. Please forgive me. One of the subs in videobruger's link should be what you're looking for.

That's the way you strengthen the policy of this forum, and no problem with me.
As mentioned above, the only English subtitle in videobruger's link is Fortress 2010, not Fortress 2012.

Anyway, thank you very much, jman98, manono and videobruger.
