Simulating Film Effect

With the continued decline in film production and processing, I wanted to know if there are any examples of filtering to create the film "look". I was mainly curious abut the color effects. I don't want to start another forum war so I won't say which is better film or video. I like the way film's color palate CAN look but like the improved performance of digital in SOME situations.

I like the 'Epoch Trailer' clip on this site. The colors are rich and polarized looking.
