making vcd

ok im try to make a vcd im very new to this. :-? here it is i d/l a movie of hotline now the movie is a vcd type movie so he say so i try to play it
on my dvd player it toshiba it play vcd but does not play this one how can i make it to play on the dvd player im very new so i dont know were to start so if you have time please help thanks

it could be that your dvd player does not play that type of cd-r , i know from experience about that . toshiba is very picky of the cd-r's it plays .
or it might not be converted properly check the menu on the left of the scene and follow the steps to converion just to double check everything is in order .
