Having recently watched the movie 'Frozen' on DVD (although technically not a Pixar film), I wondered if most animated movies are re-encoded/re-mastered into different framerates compared to the cinema release for PAL and NTSC DVD's?
This would make sense given the digital source and the fact that it could eliminate both the telecine-judder on a NTSC DVD and the 4% speedup on a PAL DVD.
Not having to do the 4% speedup for PAL land would be particularly beneficial for movies like 'Frozen' where people are likely to buy the soundtrack and may be able to tell the slight difference in speed.
Anyone know?

NTSC: no.
PAL: no..? All you have to do to verify is check whether the runtime is 4% shorter.
Why didn't you watch it on Blu-ray?
