  1. I have a video in .avi with the H264 codec, but need it in uncompressed form for Matlab to be able to read it. So i'm using MPEG Video Wizard DVD 5.0 (womble) to do this but i'm having trouble opening a video correctly. Here's the problem:

The video is shot in 12 fps for about a minute. However, when I load it into Womble it tells me the video is 30 seconds long and 29,97 fps. Is there any way to avoid this?

  2. Maybe virtualdub is a better option. You might need ffdshow installed to decode it
