Just received my Samsung 12 inch tablet and so far it is performing well. HOWEVER I have discovered an alarming problem with some important programs. For instance, you are unable to log out of your mail programs so if the tablet is stolen then anyone can get to your mail accounts. Goggle this problem and you will find many people complaining about this on Android devices. I know there is a way to lock the screen but who does that? Especially the silly way you have to do it in on this tablet. (Swiping your hand in a set pattern across the screen?)
Maybe there is a app for logging out of programs but I haven't found one that I can trust yet.

I have
(2) iPads
(1) Microsoft Surface Pro2
Wife and Son
(1) Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
(1) ASUS 10 tablet (A200)
(1) Kindle Fire
I use my iPads for games, quick check of personal email accounts and general google searches while watching TV. I use my Surface pro 2 for everything I used to do on my full size desktop/laptop computers. I can't remember the last time I actually used my desktop computerGranted the cost of the Surface Pro 2 is the same as a nice laptop. It has all the speed you'll ever need. I can edit video and everything with it's i5 processor. Best thing about it, it boots up in 9 seconds, yes 9 seconds. That's a faster boot time than an iPad. My son just broke off the charger inside his tablet, so I'll be getting him another one. His ASUS was only $100, so what ever I get him for $100 now will be twice as fast. I usually buy a tablet when I see the deal posted on CNET Cheapskate http://www.cnet.com/cheapskate/

Hello Stiltman, you certainly have more tablets then anyone I know.
I am really liking this Galaxy Note Pro 12.2. It looks like I will be able to replace my laptop soon with it. It does Word and Excel with a Korean app, so I can be 'productive'. Next purchase, a blue-tooth keyboard.

What a coincidence. I just ordered this less than a half hour ago.

How about a review of that keyboard when it arrives? I'm looking at the Logitech blue-tooth keyboard. But cost much more than yours. I'll wait for your review.

I'm sure mine is a cheapo job, but as long as it works and stows away in the case along with the tablet for easy carrying around, I should be OK with it.
It is taking the proverbial slow boat from China, actually free airmail shipping, so it'll probably be a while. I'll let you know.
Are you talking about the Logitech Tablet Keyboard for Windows and Android, or the Logitech Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard K810? That's what I probably should have / will eventually get. I've been using its predecessor, the K800, for a couple of years now and I really love it, especially for use with my HTPC. No bluetooth on it, though. I also have a couple of K400s for the kids downstairs. -
No, it's this one: http://www.logitech.com/en-ca/product/pro?crid=1242

Ah, but that's for a 12-incher. I only have a 10-incher.
I could maybe get one of these proper sheaths : http://www.logitech.com/en-ca/product/ultrathin-keyboard-folio-for-samsung-galaxy-tab?crid=1242, but I think a glow-in-the-dark one would be even more fun. -
Glow in the dark 10incher or 12incher sheath?
ROTFL!!!! -
Well, my 10-incher is doing a bang-up job. I'm very pleased at its perfomance. My bargain keyboard and sheath are actually perfectly adequate for the money. OF course the Logitech looks high-class, but now I'm actually trying to learn how to make the best use of my fingers directly applied to my 10-incher. Cheaper and quick3r.

It sure looks like tablets are getting more mainstream. especially the 10 and 12 inch sizes, as it allows more screen area to do REAL work. I think that is the secret for business users as it allows them to use it for email AND work related projects like word processing, spreadsheets and presentations.
