    I find PAL dot crawl a lot harder to remove than NTSC dot crawl. Because NTSC dot crawl has a pattern that repeats every 2 frames, PAL dot crawl has a 4 frame pattern. You generally need to run dot crawl removal filters while the video is interlaced.
