  1. I have an Anker Battery that I want to use to power my little camera for a long time. What I really need is a 4.3 x 1.65mm DC 12v male plug (Battery end) to 2.5 x 0.7mm male plug (Camera end). Thing is, I 2 cables, one that fits the batter and the other that fits the camera. Both have their own sizes on their ends, but in the middle they are both 5.5 x 2.5 mm male ends. I need something to connect them, but can't seem to find anything. I searched (Maybe poorly) for a 5.5 x 2.5 mm Female/Female but no luck. Help!

There are some items on ebay that require some sodering, but I don't have the tools and I fear what could happen if I do it myself (Camera catching fire.)

I doubt you will find an adapter to join those two cable ends. You might be able to find a couple of 5.5 x 2.5 mm female ends, but not a adapter like you were asking about. Then you would still need to solder the two connecters together with a short piece of wire.

Why not go to a repair shop and have them solder the cables themselves together. They can use shrink tubing to insulate the connection. Make sure in advance you know the polarity of both the camera and the battery ends so they can test them before and after joining.

Thanks. I was thinking about that but I'm not sure where in Japan to go. I'm going to have to ask someone. This seems like the safest way.
