    I recently got it to record smash bros Wii U. I have a sort of bad TV so i thought kill 2 birds one stone and just use amarecTV to View it and set it up in OBS for future purposes.
    I'm used to PC gaming so I thought a PCI capture card would be great but idk viewing a 1080p game in 720p ...


    I mean is there a way at all to view gamelay at 1080p/i 60fps (if i buy a newer TV) but still output 720 60 for the card?



    idk for what the card dose it's great~ I just think being PC gamer for a long time sort of makes me notice every little detail lol.

    Nope. You can have the card downscale 720p to 480p, but not interpolate 1080i to 720p.
