    how do i make a avi from my vobs with the sound in the avi, i would prefer the sound to be ac3 but not that botherd at the moment if it cant be done would apreciate any help on this thanks :P

    errr...the main thing is to use dvd2avi to frameserve to tmpgenc by creating a project file, not .avi file.

    if you want the ac3 file, try demuxing dolby digital, rather than decoding it...

    ok does that put the sound into the avi
    i like avis because i can use uleade movie studio to write to dvd
