microcenter has the i7 4770k for just $199, normally they sell it for $279, i'm guessing they are trying to get a jump on black friday (which is a mad house at that store, if you've ever been there).
now's the time to upgrade if you've been waiting for a good price.

You guys have it good in the USA. We get fleeced in Canada even when the dollar is at par. In my area the I7-4770k regularly sells above $350 ca.
There's not much to do but then I can't do much anyway. -
