Ok I'm gonna bet most people using windows 8 for awhile now already know about this trick. But for those who don't (like me until a few minutes ago) this is how you do it.

Just right click the file explorer icon in the task bar and right click the file explorer line in the menu list. Then copy the above text (just below the link) and replace the "libraries" shortcut in the properties list. Then save and now your file explorer will in effect be a single click my computer icon.

Now it starts right up so you have direct access to all your drives without going up any directories like you would with the default libraries shortcut that it has.

I like this. makes a whole lot more sense to me.

I tried adding the my computer shortcut I put on my win 8 desktop to the taskbar but couldn't figure out how. This was the next best thing.
