There are various MP3 Tag Editors & Catalogers around, but I am looking for a program that allows me to edit the tags on a Video File. I have a lot of MPEG-2, WMV and other video formats that I would like to edit the Tag information.

If the program was good at organizing and cataloging, that would be great too.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

AFAIK, mpeg2 doesn't have tag info - that's a special feature of the mp3 format.

Don't know about WMV and MPEG, but as for AVIs you can add tags in VirtualDubMod > Streams > Stream List > Comments.

I Have Found That It Can Be Done in Windows Only if The Movie File is The .mp4 File Format. On The .mp4 Movie File, Right Click Properties and Left Click The Tab Details. Add All The Info You Want.

Now if only you could obtain a working time machine to go back 6 years to 2007 to post this, then perhaps it would be informative for somebody.

Not only that, but they're wrong. MP4, MOV, AVI, ASF/WMV, MKV. The only format that doesn't have easy facility for this is MPEG1/2. Though even there it can be done, just proprietary & complicated. There was a thread about this very thing months ago.
