.mxf to .avi/mjpeg with mjpegtools

Hi,
is possible to encode from .mxf files (sony xdcamhd 4:2:2) to .avi mjpeg with mjpegtools?

what is the command line?

is possibile to achieve interlaced output?

I have try to encoder with FFMPEG but my NLE don't work with mjpeg file of FFMPEG.
If I try to export in virtualdub is all ok but the quality seems to me at the the best the ffmpeg output.

Possibly I would like use a command-line tool for encoding in mjpeg, like it:

ffmbc -y -i c0020.mxf -vcodec mjpeg -pix_fmt yuvj422p -vf colormatrix=bt709:bt601 -intra -sameq -vtag MJPG -an testout.avi

There are few chois for pix_fmt and is not possibile use the rgb24, and not the force interlacing output..

if I set -pix_fmt rgb24 or brg24 ---->= Incompatible pixel format for cordec mjpg ...

The virtualdub seems work ok but the quality if ffmpeg is superior, and is not all: virtualdun write as metadata tag: mjpg ,,, but I need MJPG. In FFmpeg were necessary only tjis: ... -timecode xuxuxu
