    I have a bunch of them in a file folder and cannot seem to get them open. I try to open in vlc and I just get tge regular sceen with 0.00 it doesn't play. I downloaded tssplitter to join the files but that file doesn't even work. I downloaded hdtvtompeg2 and when I try to open a file it says could not find a channel. And in mpegstreamclip it says its an unsupported file type and I click open anyway then it says could not find video or audio tracks? Then I downloaded mpeg 2 packet analyser try to open the file and I get this message 0x47 sync bytes not found at regular intervals or packet size not supported. I looked on the web and I cant find a solution. And media info just says container and general information. Help is immensely appreciated!! The joined file is 2.86 gb and the files are roughly like 2 or 3 mb.

    Theres also a lot of .key files like crypt-1.key........What are those?

  2. Do they open in DGIndex? If so you can save them out as M2V and whatever the audio is before then remuxing so you can play them.

    m3U8 is an mp3 playlist file, used by iTunes . You didn't mention those earlier. Cript-x.key files require a password to open the other encrypted files, which are probably music files. Maybe you could tell us more, like, what are the file endings and some of the actual file names? I have a "whole bunch" of files on my computer, too, LOL!

    The file endings is .ts. and one of the actual file name is 1_wwe_37077017_4500k_00001 and so on. Theres exactly 1076 of them .ts files in a folder and theres 90 of them crypt-x.key files. And I have two m3u8 files.

    Ok update: I made a new folder and put the m3u8 files and the key files in one folder and when I open one of the m3u8 files it shows the key files instead of saying generate key.

    Does anybody know to use openssl or php? Could somebody explain this better I could not figure out how to use those programs. The maker or atresdownloader told me to use either of these methods.

    Code:
    in php you need to perform something like

     $decryptedts = mcrypt_cbc(MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL_128, $key, $ts, MCRYPT_DECRYPT, $iv);

     or with openssl

     openssl aes-128-cbc -d -in ts.ts -out tsdecrypted.ts -p-nosalt -iv ${hexIV} -K ${hexKey}

    You know....I can send you a bunch of files recorded by my Philips TV to a USB stick.......and you won't be able to open those either because they are encrypted.
