    Hello

On a DVD or Blu-ray player which of the following two formats would you get mostly featured has standard , XviD or DivX?

Original DVDs you buy online or shops, are these XviD or DivX format, or Vob?

    Thanks

DVDs are composed of VOBs, IFOs and BUPs. See 'WHAT IS' DVD to the upper left on this page. This is the format used for commercial discs.
Divx and Xvid will play on some DVD players. So will H.264. AFAIK, none of these formats are normally used on commercial video discs.

DIVX is not supported by most BR players. Newer BR players do support XVID. DVD's use vob, never DIVX or XVID. Many DVD players support DIVX.XVID. x264 is the codec most supported by BR players,I know of no DVD player that supports x264.
