    I have a DVD and want to edit it in order to post on web site.
    Is it possible to convert DVD into mov file or any other file format for editing?

    You could use VOB2MPG (in case you use Windows) and edit the resulting file.

    AppGeeker DVD Ripper does a great job, and allows DVDs/Blurays to be safely kept away from 'little' fingers, and also means easy access on a whim.
