Hello.
I just got a new 3D TV and I'm discovering the world of 3F video files.
I have a mkv 3D movie (SBS) with external 3D subtitles already prepared (.idx and .sub), on PC I have a split image with split subs, everything seems fine.
My TV does not support .idx and .sub, so I merge the files into the MKV using mkvtoolnix.
On my first try, I forgot to activate the SBS mode for the video part of the file, so when switching the TV to 3D SBS, nothing changed.
After a few searches on the forums, I found the option in mkvtoolnix to enable this for the video, but the option is not available for the subtitles part.
Now when I play the file, and that I activate 3D SBS on the TV, the video is in 3D but the subtitles stays on the left and right part of the screen, as if the TV did not know to process them as well in the 3D.
It is strange, because I have another mkv 3D file with subs already in it, and when I activate the 3D, subs are merged in the center of the screen as they are supposed to be.
Is there an option with MKVtoolnix to encode the subs for 3D?
What do you suggest?
Thanks
