    try contacting the manufacture, if that does not work then you are out of luck, as not all dvd players can be made region free.

    Janoke, you can buy a "hack" remote that will make your Panasonic region free from this site: http://www.genuinecopies.tv/remotes/hackremotes.asp?brand=Panasonic&model=DMR-EH59

    I have unlocked my Panasonic DMR-EH50 with one of these remotes and it works fine.
