  1. Hello people, a week ago I started my own personal Blu-ray movie collection with about 20 movies. I want to eventually expand it to around 200 but it'll take time because I have a limited budget. Right now I'm limiting my choices to whatever I find that I can enjoy for around $5. So far I found the following movies under that terms: 1) The Thing 2) Green Zone 3) Legion 4) Jumper 5) Charlie's Angels 6) Constantine 7) Ghost Rider 8) Salt 9) Green Lantern 10) Clash Of The Titans 11) Battle: Los Angeles 12) The Twilight Saga: New Moon 13) Transformers: Revenge Of the Fallen 14) X-Men Origins: Wolverine 15) The Dark Knight 16) I Am Legend 17) The Wolfman 18) Resident Evil: Afterlife 19) Van Helsing 20) Hellboy II: The Golden Army 21) Spiderman 3.

Some of the movies are new, some are used. Some of them are already home, some of them were bought online and are still on their way home. I got them from places like Walmart, FYE, The Exchange and Ebay. The thing is that since the inventory in those stores is always changing and you don't always find what you're looking for so I need some more alternative stores where I can find cheap Blu-ray movies for around $5.

I really hope people here knows of any online store or retail franchise that sell Blu-ray movies at around $5 beside the ones I already mentioned. The retail stores should be located preferably in Cleveland Ohio.

Try Dollar General and/or Family Dollar if you have them in your area. Both have carried "previously viewed" DVDs for a long time and the last time there I noticed they were starting to get the Blus too.

Thanks for the tip. I was also browsing the net and found this store. I hope is a nice online store.

fyi keep an eye out at bestbuy. Every now and then they have a trade-in offer for used dvds. Trade in a used factory dvd and you'll get a 5.00 off coupon off a bluray. Catch is it has to be 9.99 or more if memory serves and you can't double up - ie one coupon per movie you buy so no freebies - ie only 5.00 a box set in other words.

It won't get you down to 5.00 on new releases but older movies that are 9.99 will be 5.00 afterwords. Only problem is sometimes the ones I'm looking for are on sale for 7.99 so they aren't eligible

But yes ebay is more reliable as the bestbuy offer is sporadic and who knows when and if they'll do it again.

Also check amazon, I've gotten some good deals there. Mostly though I've gotten out of print movies and concert videos that way.

fyi bestbuy (at least here in michigan but I assume it must be a national sale) has just started the 5$ trade in deal again.

They have the xmen movies at 5.00 with the trade in coupon on bluray. I have 3 and first class on bluray, I'll be picking up 1 and 2 on bluray, possibly wolverine origins though I do have that on dvd but I don't watch it much so not sure.

Bonus is the right boxes will have the movie cash for THE WOLVERINE movie which I plan on seeing any way. This way the two movies will pay for themselves.

I did that with skyfall last year, bought some james bond blurays and got the movie cash for it. Not a bad way to go if you are going to see the movie anyway.

I'll be trading about 5 movies and I have an anime I'm looking to get on bluray and maybe a concert too.
