I work in a conference venue and we have an upcoming event with a high proportion of deaf audience members. The organiser is planning on hiring a palantypist to provide live subtitles for talks.
Ideally we would like to combine the palantypist's output with the feed we will be using for PowerPoint presentations, such that the subtitles appear on the same screen simultaneously with the presentation slides. This is preferable to the alternative, which is the use of two separate screens (which I'm told is fatiguing over extended use).
Does anybody have experience with the above?
