UncropMKV suddenly is only rendering 1/2 of the file (corrected thread)

I have been using UncropMKV many times to excellent effect, BUT all of the sudden the last 2 or 3 times I've used it, it has only yielded about half the file! Normally I've done these at night and checked the resulting file the next morning, but since it has mysteriously been doing this, today I set it for 1 Pass Turbo so it wouldn't take long and I could watch the progress in real time, and DARN if it didn't do exactly the same thing with only about half of the MKV file processed.

I don't THINK that I'm doing anything different and I haven't changed any of the settings or any of the core programs that it uses, but it just started doing this out of the blue...

Any ideas as to what exactly could be causing this?

Have you installed a new avisynth version or ffdshow?

Thank you for answering Baldrick; no, I do not think so. That was the first thing I thought of...

However, perhaps if I re-install the program and components, that might help...

Definitely weird behaviour; has anyone else ever had that happen with UncropMKV?

Okidoke, to continue my quest to find out WHY UncropMKV is doing this...

I've been using the program again several times and it has done it's job just fine. BUT... this time it did it again AND I found the log file. Again, I am using the original file my friend made in backing up my Blu-ray, but for some odd reason this time he did it with 12 reference frames, thus the reason why I am re-encoding it, along with of course getting the benefit of the proper AR.

It LOOKS like it 'split' the file somehow, but I cannot understand WHY it did (I didn't set the settings any different than I always do) or quite exactly HOW it did (although it looks like the new Uncropped MKV file is about 2.8 Gigs and the h264 file separately is about 1.8, which DOES add up to about what the resulting file should be, but I don't get what's going on here...)

Looking at the log I can see that it has somehow 'SPLIT' something, but I don't understand how or why it did.

So, if anyone can PLEASE explain to me in detail the best they can as to exactly what is happening here and particularly WHY this file and not others, that would be LOVELY!

Oh, I just wanted to add that the resulting UncropMKV file is almost exactly 1/2 of the film. The first half. But, I do not see the 2nd half of it anywhere... Very weird...
