I need a programme so I can join the subtitle and the DiVX into 1 file.

I've got a AVI and a SRT file.

Get vobsub and use submux, that is part of the package. It multiplex avi and srt.
If you want to convert to MPEG, convert the .srt to .ssa, open the avi in VirtualDub, add the subtitler filter and frameserve to your MPEG encoder.

How can I get the subtitle under the movie in the black area????

Do you convert the avi to anything? Do you resize?

It is a widescreen movie (avi)
And I wanna convert it to a VCD.
So I must resize it because I have no widescreen TV.

You may edit the .ssa script with SubStationAlpha or a text editor to change the position of the subs. Also you may try to change the filter order, add the subs after resizing.

Only when I'm converting with TMPGEnc.
The screen freeze's for about 0,01 sec.
