OK, I want to start converting my vhs tapes to DVD. Here are the options I am looking for expertise on. I've searched the forum for a week and have not been able to find an answer...however I learned a bunch.
Option 1.
Use a SVHS, Svideo out to my digital camcorder (Sony TRV120). Capture with Ulead 5 via firewire. Convert to DVD with TMPGEnc, & burn my DVD.
Option 2
Use a VHS player, use RCS output to my camcorder, capture with Ulead, convert, & burn the DVD.
Option 3
SVHS or VHS, connect to a Dazzle hollywood DV bridge or the Pinnacle DV200, since I believe these are hardware encoders I shouldn't need to convert, then burn my DVD.
Any suggestions or improvements would be greatly appreciated. i would like to start doing this on the side for a nominal amout of $$.
This forum rocks, thanks,
Samcut
