    Now, what I want to do:
    1. Remove the audio tracks from the mpg video;
    2. Remove the audio track and extract it to a losskess audio file from the avi video;
    3. Add the extracted audio track to the mpg video;
    4. Sync the video with the new audio track.
    NOTE: the both videos (avi and mpg) have the same scene action, the only difference is the quality and the audio (english versus german).

    How can I do this or is possible?

    Thanks!

    You've got over 15 seconds of time difference between the two clips.

  3. I've corrected the mistake at point 3. (it was mpg not avi)
    What this means? I can't do anything?
    Thanks!

    You need to visually check to see if you can remove that time difference from the larger file, either at the beginning or end of the longer video. You can't just "mux" the short audio to the long video and expect it to look right/sync up.

    Thanks for your help.

  6. One's from an NTSC source, the other is PAL. It's almost an exact match-up in length if you extract the AVI's audio and change it to PAL speed. In something like BeSweet, you'd use the 23.96->25FPS preset. In something else you'd want it something like 95.904% of its original length.
