I have both the DVD and BD and the BD one sounds worse but I can't put my finger on it. What is the problem here?

How about an actual working link instead of one that has a space between EVERY single character!!

    And the site......

Yeah except the site wouldn't let me post that link so I had to disguise it.

There is no good way to compare when neither of these files is original. Who knows what converter or settings were?...

  6. AH, here is a part that really stands out. Notice how undynamic it sounds. If you have ffdshow, mute the center channel, this will mute the guy's talking and you'll only hear music, but this won't work in the Blu-ray 5.1 track. It's like whoever finalized the BD release mixed half the channels up? What is this crap?

    Shut the hell up ?!?!?!

How about knowing what the hell you are talking about when you post something!!!
Or being much clearer as to what you have or how you got it!!

Because I am pretty sure the audio you posted from the "dvd" is not DVD compliant audio!!

So not having the original raw audio to compare means nothing as it was either converted or NOT from a DVD!!!

Yes sir, do something other than complain. Whatever issues you have with sendspace, surely there are sites void of them.

Since I noticed something wrong with the track but couldn't put my finger on it, I was inviting others that could possibly point out what I'm talking about, obviously not you.

Uh, from the store? Ebay, anyway. The DVD is an ISO image of the DVD, acquired a long time ago.

AC3 5.1 is DVD-compliant... if not, explain where whoever I got the ISO from got it?

I converted because the only alternative is to waste everybody's time with 60 MB uncompressed audio clips just for 15 ******* seconds. They are high quality and indiscernible from the raw track. As you can hear, it didn't drown the anomaly in the BD rip (or should I say didn't drown the DVD track to sound as shitty as the BD).

All you do is bitch & moan. Take your pills and attempt some dialogue next time, douche.

  9. I think the original was mono and both are poor attempts to simulate 5.1.

Then they somehow isolated the speech perfectly from the music on the DVD. Is that even possible?

This doesn't help accomplish your goal here, unfortunately. I understand your frustration with a response you received as not everyone here has "good bed-side manners" when dealing with some people. Apparently, I've got my own personal thorn here.

Aside from that, my advice to you, stick to the facts, say thank you when getting assistance, share your results for and with others, and ignore such responses that don't address your issue. The more you get personal, the bigger the fire you'll start ..... it's a waste of time and resource no matter which side it comes from, first or last.

    Cheers

  12. I do share my results and give credit where due. As Noah is not a troll but a douche, ignoring him would only enables his current disposition of doing nothing but complaining so someone has to lay it out to him. Either way, it's fun to watch him flip out, check all those exclamation points. He's buckin' like them rodeo bulls.
