I'm dumping old video cassettes to DVD. If I use a DVD/RW, the audio/video is out of sync as soon as I rip the file onto my computer. And not just an issue of needing to add or subtract some time from the audio track -- the out-of-sync keeps varying. Yet, if I use a DVD/R, everything's fine.
I've seen this on 2 different DVD recorders and 3 different computers.
Any idea what's going on, or if I can fix this?
