    Good morning all.

Ok so i have an issue. Assistance would be much appreciated.
I recorded a 2 hour function on 3 DV tapes and then with a firewire and using windows movie maker I imported the files into my PC. So I need to edit them a little and put it on to a single DVD. I have Corel Video to do the editing.
Problem is the files are around 50GB each! so I have around 150GB and I need to reduce them and get it on a DVD.
    Please assist.

In corel videstudio can't you output to dvd directly? It should then convert it to a smaller format for dvd.

If not then use a dvd converter https://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/all-in-one-dvd-converters

try again. you don't have DV off the tapes. if you did they would total ~ 26gb for 2 hours of video, not 50gb each. use winDV to capture DVavi off the tapes from the cam to the computer using the firewire connection. 1 hour of tape is 13gb.
