  1. I am trying to capture video from my Grandfather's old Hi-8 video camera. I am using a Pinnicle Dazzle video capture (Svideo/RCA input to USB). I am using VeeCool Video Capture (it was free) to capture video and set the settings to 30fps using standard NTSC settings at 720x480. However when the video moves around it becomes really pixalated. Any suggestions?

Right click in vlc, go to "video", then "deinterlace", and "on"

Right click in VLC, go to "video", then "deinterlace mode", and select "yadif" or if you have a fast enough computer "yadif 2x"

That will make your video look the way it should
