  1. I'm trying to figure out how to get the isolated music cues off the DVD. I've used DVD Decrypter to look at the VOB files, but none of them seem to have the music tracks. What other avenues are there to get to these music cues?

DVDs of TV shows and movies don't work that way....they never have.

This is going to be a big mess to do this. With 5 questions in 9 years of membership, to be blunt it's probably going to be too advanced for you. But in case I have underestimated your abilities, I will tell you what you need to do.

You'll need to use DVDDecrypter in IFO mode (this is NOT the same thing as ISO mode!) and rip whatever individual episode you want to work with. You should use Stream Processing and demux the audio so you get one entire audio stream, which I assume will be in AC3 format. Then you'll need an audio editor of some kind that can handle AC3 (or whatever format DVDDecrypter gave you) audio. If you are very lucky, the cues will be in a separate channel by themselves. You'll need to extract just that channel and edit it. If the audio is such that the cues aren't in a separate channel then you'll have to edit the audio and try to find places where you can only hear the cues as there is no way to remove any other sounds that will be present.

  4. It's easier than that - the NTSC extras disc has a menu with "isolated music cues".

Decrypt the disc and then demux VTS_02 to get the .ac3 audio track. The music starts at 20:12.
