Lasonic Delta-1000 New player?

I recently got a Lasonic Delta-1000 player as a substitution for another DVD player that was out of stock. Does anyone have experience with this player? I looked on the company website and there is not enough detail on the player. Are there any hacks available for this player? I have looked in several places but I guess this player is too new to be rated yet. I have to make a decision soon about whether I want to keep this player or return it for my money back. It is only sold at CompUSA so far and retails for $99.

from what i've heard they are pretty easy to make region free.. but i have heard of no macro hacks for it

i was wondering that myself. they're portable, snazzy (like a 70's disco suit), and cheap.
