    What I mean is that I want to basically copy from DVD to DVD so I can keep good quality. If I have a Dvd-R is this possibly?

    Steve,

    only if the files are under 4.3 gb is it possible to rip to hardrive and then burn back to DVD-R, but if it's over, then you are going to have to do some work. Check the DVD ripping guides.
