    Can anybody recommend a good video screen saver??

  2. I Googled "screen saver that plays videos' and got 3 million hits. Try one. MS has one here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=23504

    It for an OLD operating system (XP) but it may work for you as you are using a old OS also.

    Just out of curiosity, what's the difference between a "video screen saver" and a media player running a random playlist in fullscreen mode

  5. Maybe a media player won't start automatically when you want to stop working on jobs and the computer is idle.
